Accounting is one of the most important parts of any organisation. Accountants provide essential information and professional advice to help individuals and organisations make the right financial and business decisions.
This two-year programme will equip students with a foundation level of competence in accountancy and information technology skills. Modules include: financial accounting; quantitative techniques; business applications; economics; management; business and company law; taxation and financial management. There is a strong emphasis over the two years on computer applications ensuring graduate have the ICT skills required for modern business environments. The broad foundation base also enables students to pursue further studies in business or accounting.
