Computer Systems Professional
Aim
Do you have an interest in how computers and networks work? Do you enjoy problem solving, troubleshooting and fixing other peoples IT issues? The purpose of this course is to equip the learner with computer technology fundamentals, such as PC installation, configuration, and installing mobile devices. It also covers the configuration, management, and troubleshooting of common wired and wireless network devices, including emerging technologies such as mobile, cloud, and virtualization technologies.
Modules include
CompTIA A+ Mobile Devices, PC Maintenance, Security, Hardware, Windows OS, Tech Support
CompTIA Network+ Design, configure, manage and troubleshoot any wired and wireless networks
Virtualisation / Cloud Technologies
Team Working
Work Experience

Two weeks work experience is incorporated into this course

Progression:
On successful completion of this course students can progress to Computer Systems & Networks QQI Level 6 or to our Network Security Professional available in the College where they will expand their knowledge in the area of networking, advanced operating systems, wireless networks, ISP technologies, ethical hacking and securing network services.
