Certificate in TV Production and Design Practices
The programme is intended for learners who have an interest in art, design and film and TV production but have not yet completed a related programme and who do not have a portfolio of work. The programme provides an opportunity for learners to explore and experiment across a range of TV production and design disciplines in order to enhance their skills and identify the creative specialism they might wish to pursue as a career or through further study.
This programme will prepare candidates who have a keen interest in TV production and design for further study in either field. This is achieved by allowing learners to explore and experiment across a wide range of screen media and design activities, enabling learners to develop key visualization and representation skills. On completion of the programme, graduates will be able to make informed decisions as to their choice of career and related further studies. This programme serves as a pathway into further study.

Course Time | Full-time students must be available through Monday to Friday. Part-time students will have classes two evenings (nine hours) per week plus one Saturday session (six hours) per month. |

Carear Path | Graduates of this programme are eligible to enter the second year of the BA in Film, TV and Screen Media Production at Griffith College. Graduates may also be interested in continuing their studies by applying to the BA (Honours) in Film, TV and Screen Media Production (NFQ Level 8) programme. Additionally, the graduate may apply to enter a related degree programme at Griffith College. |
