Beauty & Retail Sales (Year 1)

This one-year course is designed to provide the practical knowledge and personal skills required for a career in Beauty & Retail Sales. It emphasises the practical study of Make-up and its many applications, Skin & Eye Treatments as well as covering a variety of workshops on nails, tanning, eyelash extensions & creative hairstyling.

Awarding Body:

ITEC – Beauty Specialist Certificate
FETAC(QQI) Modules Level 5
Career Opportunities:
Promotional Consultants for specific beauty houses, Retail Sales Consultancy in pharmacies, department stores on make-up counters, health food shops, self-employment or contract work.
Minimum Entry Requirements:
Leaving Certificate/Leaving Certificate Applied or equivalent standards of education. Mature students may be granted exemptions. All entry is subject to interview.
