Accounting Technician - Second Year (ATI)



This 2nd year course provides a professional qualification from the Accounting Technicians in Ireland. Accounting Technicians are skilled support staff working in the accounting & finance areas. This course can provide students with the following:
A recognised business qualification with the option to undertake further professional studies
Better job opportunities within a wide range of industries both nationally & internationally
Technical knowledge & work-based skills

Successful students will be prepared for employment in a variety of accounting roles – accounts, cash management & control, office manager, payroll officer, assistant accountant, credit controller. Students who hold the ATI Accounting Technician qualification and who are interested in further study may avail of exemptions from the following Professional Bodies – A.C.C.A., C.I.M.A. & C.P.A. Students may also apply to Year 3 of the Bachelor of Business (Ordinary Degree) in Accounting in IT, Tallaght.
Minimum Entry Requirements:
Successful completion of ATI first Year or accredited equivalent. Exemptions must be agreed by students with the A.T.I. All entry is subject to interview.
