Courses That Award: Higher Diploma
On the National Framework of Qualifications, the Higher Diploma is Level 8. A Higher Diploma course usually lasts for the duration of one year. Most students require an Honours Bachelor Degrees to take a Higher Diploma programme. It’s still possible, however, for people who have an Ordinary Bachelor Degree to study on a Higher Diploma course. It should be noted that the Higher Diploma is typically in a different field than the previous degree. Students can study for this qualification at Institutes of Technology, QQI and Universities.
