Teagasc College of Amenity Horticulture are hosting a Try Horticulture April Virtual Open Day on Fri, 30 April 2021 from 12:30 – 13:30.
During this session staff from the college will present information on Teagasc courses and answer questions live from the audience. This will be a great opportunity to get an idea of the work that students get involved in during their Horticulture courses in the National Botanic Gardens of Ireland.
Teagasc’ current students are all taking their courses online and when the restrictions are eased Teagasc hope to resume its practical activity in the normal way.

The College of Amenity Horticulture is located at the National Botanic Gardens, Glasnevin, Dublin.
There is a strong tradition of teaching at the National Botanic Gardens dating back to 1812.
Teagasc College of Amenity Horticulture aim to prepare students for employment in the amenity horticulture industry. The courses are provided in association with OPW, Dublin Municipal Parks departments and the Golfing Union of Ireland.
