Is it your goal to study Medicine or Veterinary Medicine but you don’t have the CAO points? The Medical Poland Admission Office might have another route for you to achieve your dream career.
Medical Poland: Opportunities
Medical Poland Admission Office has helped international students obtain access to Polish medical and veterinary schools delivering programmes through English since 2013. They have been working with Guidance Counsellors, teachers, community organizations, HSE, Irish Embassy in Warsaw and Polish Embassy in Dublin to educate Irish students about options available to them, e.g. the fact that no HPAT is required and Leaving Cert points are barely taken into account as most Polish universities conduct interviews (in Poland, Ireland or even via Skype).
In the last few years, Medical Poland Admission Office helped hundreds of Irish students make an informed choice and over 100 start studying in Poland through English. Their students constitute approx. 30% of all Irish studying in Poland (over 350 in 2018). They typically study medicine, veterinary, dentistry, physiotherapy, pharmacy and nursing.
Information Sessions in Dublin and Limerick
Medical Poland Admission Office is holding information events at a number of schools in Limerick area and an open event 4-5pm on Friday the 18th of January, at Bank of Ireland’s Workbench, 125 O’Connell Street, Limerick to inform about the options to study veterinary and medical sciences abroad. They also have another open session planned in Dublin on January 19th.
