Ever watched Dragons’ Den and thought ‘Is that it? Is that the idea those guys are pitching? Mine’s way better!’? If so, then Griffith College Dublin challenge you to put your idea on paper and battle it out with other creative enterprises in its Business Enterprise Competition 2014.
Stage 1
In teams of 4 people or less, entrants must describe their enterprising business idea/product in a 2,000-word (or less) document. If you’re successful, you’ll move on to …
Stage 2
Teams shortlisted for the second stage will be required to use their social media skills to market their business idea/product. This means creating a Facebook page and promoting the idea to as wide an audience as possible. Teams will then be invited to present their ideas to a panel of experts (none of whom will be from Dragons’ Den). In addition, the short listed teams are required to display their business idea/product in a pop up display during our Schools Week in March 2014.
What do you win?
1st Prize
The winning team will receive €500 and their school will be awarded the Griffith College Business Faculty Enterprising School Perpetual Trophy. The team will also achieve legendary status among its peers.
