The Sallynoggin College of Further Education Great Painting Challenge featured students from the Level 5 and Level 6 Art and Design courses sending two days painting in the picturesque Lexicon Library. Students were given 4 hours per day on 28th and 29th March to complete a painting of either the library’s interior or exterior. The paintings will be on view in the Lexicon and on Facebook until the 30th April.
Viewers can vote for their favourite and the winners will be announced on Monday 8th May at the launch of the SCFE Art and Fashion Exhibition will take place at 6pm in the Lexicon Library.

The exhibition, which will showcase students’ work from throughout the year will run until Sunday 14th May. Anyone considering studying Art or Fashion at QQI Levels 5 or 6, should visit and see what they could achieve studying in SCFE.
