Over a dozen Irish students from Poland, including many from Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz initiated 3-day long celebrations of St. Patrick’s Day working together with Polish local authorities, the Irish Embassy and university officials.
We invite all guidance counselors and students to visit prestigious Polish universities and get to know all programs they offer in English (Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Veterinary). A number of Irish students who chose to study in Poland invite to feel flavour of Poland during St. Patrick’s weekend and visit their universities in Bydgoszcz, Poznan and Wroclaw.
This March they want to showcase their history and heritage to Poles. Bydgoszcz, the 8th largest Polish city (comparable to Cork), will see a number of buildings going green, St. Patrick’s parade, Easter Rising film screening, Polish-Irish culinary festival with competitions and many other festive surprises .
