Product Design & Portfolio Clinics
For applicants interested in Product Design and Interaction Design. Spend time with staff from the Product Design Department, learn more about studying at NCAD and what they are looking for in a portfolio.
Time: Session 1 – 10am, Session 2 – 11am, Session 3 – 12pm.
Location: Studio Space, Lower Ground Floor, Design Building.
Communication Design & Portfolio Clinics
For applicants interested in Graphic Design, Moving Image Design or Illustration. Spend time with staff from the communication Design Department, learn more about studying at NCAD and what they are looking for in a portfolio.
Time: Session 1 – 10am, Session 2 – 11am, Session 3 – 12pm.
Location: Seminar Room 1, First Floor, Design Building.
Design for Body and Environment: Portfolio Information and Guidance
For applicants interested in studying Jewellery & Objects, Textile & Surface Design or Fashion Design. Spend time with staff in the department learning more about studying at NCAD and what they are looking for in a portfolio.
Time: Session 1 – 10am.
Location: Studio 2, Fashion/Textiles, 2nd Floor, Granary Building.

Fine Art Painting Department: Portfolio Clinic
For applicants who are interesting in Contemporary Painting practices and all the related painting studio research methods of drawing, collage and photography. The Painting Department lecturers are looking forward to the opportunity to meet with you in the Paintings studios at NCAD for the Portfolio Clinics to discuss your portfolio preparation ideas and methods. They hope to offer some helpful advice, guidance and encouragement at this important stage in your Portfolio preparation. Please bring along your Portfolio work to-date and the staff will discuss a variety of approaches to best showcase your creative curiosity in all kinds of creative learning that you can demonstrate through the completion of a personally inspiring and innovative portfolio submission.
Time: Session 1 – 10am and Session 2 – 11.30am.
Location: Painting Department, Painting Project Space, 3rd Floor, Granary Building.
Inspiration, Encouragement and Help in getting your portfolio finished and ready for submission by 7th February.
