The DARE Application Information Session 2023 will take place online on Saturday 14 January at 10.00 am.
DARE is a third level alternative admissions scheme for school-leavers under the age of 23 as of 1 January 2023 whose disabilities have had a negative impact on their second level education.
This session includes a general presentation on DARE and how to apply to it, as well as a Questions and Answers session on how to make a successful application. It will also provide an opportunity for you and/or your parent(s)/ guardian(s) to meet members of the DARE team online and find out how the scheme works. You will be able to ask questions about the application process through the Q&A function and can submit questions in advance to be answered by a panel of DARE Advisors

The Higher Education Access Route (HEAR) is a higher education admissions scheme for Leaving Certificate students (under 23) whose economic or social background are underrepresented in higher education.
This session includes a general presentation on HEAR and how to apply to it, as well as a Questions and Answers session on how to make a successful application. It will also provide an opportunity for you and/or your parent(s)/ guardian(s) to meet members of the HEAR team online and find out how the scheme works.
