The call for participation in the LOTUS Leadership Development Programme is now open under the Erasmus+ funded LOTUS (Leadership and Organisation for Teaching and Learning at European Universities) project.
The Leadership Development Programme will offer an opportunity for European higher education institutions to address the key challenges in learning and teaching that they are currently facing, by fostering capacity building in implementing systematic approaches to enhance learning and teaching. The deadline to participate is 2 November 2020.
Under the call, 20-30 European higher education institutions will be selected to participate to peer-learning activities, based on their own institutional priorities in learning and teaching. The Leadership Development Programme will kick off with an induction workshop in January 2021 and will last until October 2021. Over this period, participating institutions will work on their own implementation and change management plans for learning and teaching. They will also exchange with peer institutions in a problem-solving approach and gain a comparative view of solutions proposed by different institutions across Europe to similar problems and challenges.
For more information on the envisaged activities under the Leadership Development Programme and the terms and conditions for participation, please consult the call for participation. Higher education institutions interested in participating in the Programme are invited to fill in the online application form before the deadline.
The LOTUS Leadership Development Programme project is conducted in partnership with the Irish Universities’ Association (IUA), the Finnish Ministry of Higher Education, the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Vienna), the European Students’ Union (ESU) and the European Association of Institutions in Higher Education (EURASHE).
