ATU Sligo is offering a Build Your Portfolio Drawing Course to Senior Cycle Secondary School Pupils.
The course runs June 7, 8 & 9 from 9.30am – 3pm

The course is for students who wish to apply to study in areas such as art, design and architecture. The course aims to assist secondary school students to develop drawing and give ideas and directions for developing further drawings to build a portfolio. Through practical drawing exercises students will develop an understanding of drawing in through observation, analysis and perspective, Drawing will be through black and white and colour and will allow the student to explore a variety of materials and approaches.

Lizzie Kinsella
Lizzie Kinsella is a visual artist based in Sligo. She received her BFA and MFA from University of Ulster. Lizzie is the Programme Chair for the Fine Art undergraduate programme at the Atlantic Technological University, Sligo and has lectured drawing for the past 30 years.
Mark Pepper
Born in Belfast in 1957, Mark Pepper attended the University of Ulster and received a B.A.Honours and a Masters Degree in Fine Art. He has exhibited throughout Ireland and abroad. He has received numerous awards and residencies and is represented in collections throughout Ireland. Mark has lectured at IT Sligo since 2002.
