ACCA – Association of Chartered Certified Accountants is the global body for professional accountants. The Association is also a qualifications awarding body.

The ACCA Qualification and the NFQ.
The ACCA – Association of Chartered Certified Accountants Qualification is a professional qualification enabling members to reach the highest level in accountancy. Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) has aligned the this qualification to Level 9 of the Irish National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ). This indicates that it is the equivalent of an Irish Masters degree.
In addition, students who achieve this qualification have attained the global accounting education standards set by the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC). The qualification is fully IFAC compliant.
Additional certifications from the Association include the Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business; the Intermediate Certificate in Financial and Management Accounting; and the Introductory Certificate in Financial and Management Accounting.
