About the UL Department Of Nursing & Midwifery
The mission of the Department of Nursing and Midwifery at UL is to “engage in dynamic and transformational teaching and research that make a significant contribution to improving the health and wellbeing of local, national and global communities”. The Department of Nursing and Midwifery was established at the University in 2003 and is part of the Faculty of Education and Health Sciences (EHS). They are situated in the state-of-the-art Health Sciences Building, on the North bank Campus of the University of Limerick. This department offers a wide range of study opportunities which emphasise a flexible and lifelong approach to learning and are committed to facilitating students’ personal and professional development within a supportive, respectful and flexible environment.
