The team at NCAD understand that the application process can seem daunting at times so they are going to help you complete your portfolio in one day! Staff members and students will be on hand to take the mystery out of portfolio preparation.
NCAD Workshops
Product Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Moving Image Design and Illustration are running portfolio workshops; bring along your portfolio work to date and over the course of a day-long work shop in the Design studios they will help you complete your Portfolio. Design for Body & Environment (DBE) [Fashion Design, Textile & Surface Design, Jewellery & Objects] are running a morning Portfolio Information Session aimed at applicants to these departments. These expert tutors will guide you through what makes a good portfolio for DBE and how the portfolio process works. The session will start with a talk about DBE and its different pathways followed by a tour of the DBE studio areas where there will be current First Year entry Portfolios on display and sample projects from 2nd and Final Year students.
